HINT: With this test, it can be determrned whether
the trouble lies within the electrical circuit or is a
mechanical oroblem in tha transaxla.

INSPECT MANUAL DRIVING OPERATION
Check that tha shift and gear positions correspond
with the table below.
HINT: lf ths L, 2 and D rango g€ar positions are
difficult to distinguish, perform the following road
test.

W h i l e d r i v i n g , s h i f t t h r o u g h t h e L , 2 a n d D
ranges.
Check that th6 gear change corresponds to the
sh ift position.
lf any abnormality is found in the above test, the
problem lies in transaxle itself.
