P R E C A U T I O N S
1. Always use new gaskets when replacing the fuel
tank or component pa rts,
2. Apply the proper torque to all parts tightened.

I N S P E C T I O N
(a) Check the fuel lines for cracks or leakage, and all
con nections for def ormation.
(b) Check the fuel tank vapor vent syslem hoses ano
c o n n s c t i o n s f o r l o o s e n e s s , s h a r p b a n d s o r d a m a g e .
(c) Check the fuel tank for deformation, cracks, fuel leax-
a g e o r t a n k b a n d l o o s e n e s s .
( d ) C h e c k t h e f l l l e r n e c k f o r d a m a g e o r f u e l l e a k a g e .
(e) Hose and tubs conn6ctions are as shown in the illus-
tration.
