Minimum clea rance:
0.7 mm (0.028 in.)
lf the clearance is less than the limit, reolace the
syn ch ron ize r ring.

INSPECT SHIFT FORKS AND HUB SLEEVES CLEAR-

Using a feeler gaugs, measure the clearance bstween
th6 hub sleeve and shift fork.

the output shaft journal surface.

(b) Using a dial indicator, check the shaft runout.
Maximum runout:
0.05 mm (0.0020 in.)
lf the runout exceeds the maximum. rsolace the
outout shaft.
