W A S H E R M O T O R I N S P E C T I O N
INSPECT WASHER MOTOR (W/ Rear Wiper)
Front Washer Operation
Connect the positive (+) Iead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l 2 a n d t h e n e g a t i v e ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l 1 ,
check that th6 motor operates.
NOTICE: These tests must be performed quickly (within
20 seconds) to prsvent the coil from burning out.
lf operation is not as specified, replace the motor.
Rear Washer Operation
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l 2 a n d t h e n e g a t i v e ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l 3 ,
check that tho motor ooerates.
NOTICE: Thaso tests must ba performed quickly (within
20 seconds) to prevent the coil from burning out.
lf operation is not as specified, replacs the motor.
