1 . I N S T A L L C A B L E I N T R A N S A X L E C A S E
(a) Be sure to push it in all the way.
(b) Install the retaining plate and the bolt.
2. INSTALL VALVE BODY
(See page AX-49)
3. IF THROTTLE CABLE IS NEW, STAKE STOPPER ON
I N N E R C A B L E
(a) Bond the cable so there is a radius of about 200 mm
( 7 . 8 7 i n . ) .
(b) Pull the inner cable lightly until a slight resistance is
felt, and hold it.
( c ) S t a k 6 t h e s t o p p e r 0 . 8 - 1 . 5 m m ( 0 . 0 3 1 - 0 . 0 5 9 i n . )
from the end of outer cable, as shown.
4.
CONNECT THROTTLE CABLE
(a) Connect the cable to the throttl€ linkage.
(b) Connect the cable housing to th€ brack€t.
5. ADJUST THROTTLE CABLE

6. INSTALL NEUTRAL START SWITCH
(a) Install th€ noutral start switch.
(b) Install the manual shift lever.
(c) Adjust th6 neutral start switch.

(d) Connect the transaxl6 control cable.
