(a) Be sure the damper clamp is on the shaft groove.
(b) Check the drstance, as shown.

(c) Using a screwdriver, bend the band and lock it, as
shown in the illustration.

( a ) U s i n g p l i e r s , i n s t a l l a n e w s n a p r i n g .
(b) Coat gear oil to the inboard joint tulip and differential
case sliding s u rface.
(c) Using a brass bar and hammer, tap in tho drivo shaft
until it makes contact with ths oinion shaft.
H I N T :

Before installing the drive shaft, set the snap ring
opening side facing downward.

Wh€thor or not th€ drive shaft is making contact
with tho pinion shaft can be known by the sound
or feeling when driving it in.

axial dire ction.
(b) Check that the drive shaft will not come out by trying
to pull it completely out by hand,
3.
INSTALL RH DRIVE SHAFT
(a) w,z LSD:
Install the bearing bracket with 2 bolts.
Torque:84 N.m (650 kgf.cm,47 tt.lb{)
(b) Apply MP grease to the transaxle oil lip.
(c) Insert the center drive shaft with the RH drive shaft to
the transaxle through the bearing bracket.
