. The retainer cannot be reused once it has been
removed from the pipe.
Replace the retainer when
replacing the fuel pump.

Do nor smoke wntle workhg on rhe fuel
system. Keep open tlames away trom your work arsa.

C h e c k t h e p i p e c o n t a c t a r e a f o r d i r t a n d d a m a g e ,
and clean if necessary.
Insert a new retainer into the connector if the retainer
is damaged, or after

replacing the fuel pump.

replacing the fuelfeed pipe.

removing the retainer lrom the pipe.
