LXI functionality is available only for user accounts with administrator rights.

Opens a dialog box to view or change the LXI instrument description. This description
is used on some of the LXI web sites.
By default, the description is "Signal Analyzer".

LAN Reset ← LXI ← General Setup
Resets the LAN configuration to a state required by the LXI standard. For example, the
TCP/IP mode is set to "DHCP" and "Dynamic DNS" and "ICMP Ping" are enabled. In
addition, the R&S ESR sets the password and the instrument description to their initial
states (see

Opens a submenu to set the parameters of the remote control interface.
GPIB Address ← GPIB ← General Setup
Opens an edit dialog box to enter the GPIB address. Values from 0 to 30 are allowed.
The default address is 20.

Selects the default response to the *IDN? query.

SYSTem:IDENtify:FACTory

Opens an edit dialog box to enter a user-defined response to the *IDN? query. Max.
36 characters are allowed.

Compatibility Mode ← GPIB ← General Setup
Sets the R&S ESR in a state compatible to previous R&S devices, enabling the usage
of existing external control applications. In particular, the number of measurement
points and available bandwidths are adjusted to the settings of other devices.
