21. Remove the generator bracket upper retaining
bolt.

CAUTIONS:

The cylinder head bolts can only be
reused twice. Stamp the bolts to indicate
usage.
The cylinder head must have cooled to
below 30°C before removal.
Using the special tool, remove the cylinder head
bolts in the sequence shown.
Discard the cylinder head gasket.
Discard the cylinder head bolts as
necessary.
NOTE: Place the cylinder head on a clean

Remove the cylinder head.
Installation
1. Check the cylinder head for distortion. For

2. Fabricate two locating studs as shown.
