Anti-Lock Control - Rear Wheel Speed
Sensor
Removal and Installation
Transit/Tourneo Connect 2002.5 (06/2002-)
Removal
All vehicles
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional
information, refer to Section
Tires.
3. Detach the wheel speed sensor wiring harness
from the wheel knuckle and floor panel.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Detach the clips.
Vehicles with rear disc brakes
4. Remove the brake disc. For additional
information, refer to Section
Brake.
All vehicles
NOTE: The wheel speed sensor wiring

harness is routed through the wheel knuckle.
Detach the wheel spindle and wheel hub
assembly from the wheel knuckle.
6. Remove the wheel speed sensor.
Installation
CAUTIONS:
1.
Do not damage the wheel speed sensor
wiring harness or electrical connector.
