18. Remove the steering gear.
Installation
1. Install new O-ring seals onto the power steering
gear lines.
2. Install the steering gear.
WARNING: Install a new steering gear

pinion extension shaft to steering gear pinion
pinch bolt. Failure to follow this instruction
may result in personal injury.
Install the steering gear pinion extension shaft.
1. Install the retaining bolt.
2. Attach the floor seal to the steering gear.
4. Connect the power steering lines to the steering
gear valve body.
1. Rotate the clamp plate.
