CHECK if the catalytic converter rattles if gently
tapped. If noise is present, REMOVE and
visually INSPECT the catalytic convertor for
damage. INSTALL a new catalytic converter as
necessary. REFER to Section

ROADTEST at full throttle.
With EGR disconnected, 1st gear to 35mph
(55kph)
2nd gear to 50mph (80kph)
3rd gear to 70mph (110kph)

CHECK the valve timing. REFER to Section

of injectors as required only after the specialist
agent checks have been carried out.
