Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.

NOTE: Note the position of the power
steering lines to aid installation.
Detach the power steering lines from the
steering gear.
CAUTIONS:

Cap the power steering lines to prevent
fluid loss or dirt ingress.
Cap the steering gear valve body to
prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress.
Disconnect the power steering lines from the
steering gear valve body.
1. Remove the retaining bolt.
2. Rotate the clamp plate.
Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable
container.
Discard the O-ring seals.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet pipe.
1. Loosen the retaining clips.
2. Remove the retaining nuts.
6. Remove the charge air cooler outlet pipe.
