17. Detension the timing belt.
Loosen the timing belt tensioner bolt.
18. Remove the timing belt.
Discard the timing belt.
19. Remove the timing belt tensioner.
Engines with mechanical timing belt tensioner
20. Discard the timing belt tensioner.
All vehicles
21. Using the special tool, remove the camshaft
pulley retaining bolt.
22. Using the special tool, remove the camshaft
pulley.
23. Remove the fuel injection pump pulley bolts.
