28. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR)
vacuum hose from the EGR valve.
29. Disconnect the EGR vacuum hose.
30. Detach the electronic vacuum regulating valves
support bracket from the intake manifold and
position it to one side.
All vehicles
31. Detach the upper coolant hose from the EGR
cooler.
Vehicles without common rail fuel injection
32. Detach the vacuum hoses and the electrical
connector from the EGR valve.
