6. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the
brake shoe.
7. Remove the brake shoes.
Installation
CAUTION: Make sure that the brake

shoe adjuster is pre-set to give a brake shoe
diameter of 228 mm before installing the
brake drum.
NOTE: Install a new parking brake cable
retaining clip.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Apply grease
strut.
Clean the backing plate and apply
dielectric compound
contact points.
2. Adjust the parking brake cable.
