HYDRAULIC BRAKE
REAR MASTER CYLINDER
REMOVAL
Drain the rear hydraulic system (page 15-7).
Avoid spilling fluid
Remove the brake hose oil bolt. sealing washers
on painted, plastic,
and brake hose.
or rubber parts.
Place a shop towel
over these parts
whenever the
sys-
cem
is
serviced.

Remove the right footpeg bracket bolts and heat
guard mounting bolt.
Remove the screw and reservoir hose joint from the
master cylinder.
Remove and discard the brake pedal joint cotter pin.
Remove the brake pedal joint pin.
