HYDRAULIC BRAKE

Connect a commercially available air bleed tool to
the left front brake caliper outer bleed valve.
Operate the air bleed tool and loosen the outer
bleed valve, adding fluid when the f luid level in the
master cylinder reservoir is low.
• Check the fluid level often while bleeding the
brakes to prevent air from being pumped into the
system.
• When using a brake bleeding tool, follow the
manufacturer's operating instructions.
Close the bleed valve.
TORQUE: 6 N·m (0.6 kgf·m, 4.3 lbf·ft)
Con nect a commercially available air bleed tool to
the right front brake caliper bleed va lve.
Operate the air bleed tool and loosen the bleed
valve, adding fluid when the fluid level in the master
cylinder reservoir is low.
Close the bleed valve.
TORQUE: 6 N·m (0.6 kgf·m, 4.3 lbf·ft)
Fill the fluid reservoir to the upper level.
Reinstall the diaphragm and diaphragm plate.
