NO
- Open circuit

wire harness between
the ABS control
unit
and
modulator.
YES

GO
TO
STEP 6.

Modulator
Motor Inspection by Replacing
Front
and Rear Modulators
Connect the ABS control
unit
5P
(Brown
)
con-
nector.
Remove the
front and rear
modulators
and
inter-
change
them.
Connect the front modulator 3P
(Gray)
and 2P
connectors to the rear modulator.
Connect the rear
modulator
3P
(Gray)
and 2P
connectors
to
the front
modulator.
Perform
the pre-start self-diagnosis,
retrieve
the
problem code and record
it.
Is any problem code indicated?
4 blinks-Faulty
rear ABS
modulator.
5 blinks-Fau
lty
ABS control unit.
Problem
code 6: Front modulator crank angle sen-
sor system
inspection
1. ABS
Indicator
Checking

the ignition switch to
"ON"
and check
the
ABS
indicator.
