Remove the oil pump
shaft,
thrust
washer,
drive
pin, feed pump outer rotor and inner
rotor
from the
oil
pump
body.
INSPECTION
Tempo
rarily
install the
oil pump shaft.
Install
the
outer
and
inner rotors
into the
o
il pump
body.
If
any
portion of
the
oil pump
IS
worn
beyond the
serv1ce
hm1t, replace the oil
Measure
the rotor tip clearance
for the feed
and
pump as an assem-
cooler
pump.
