Disconnect the
alternat

connector.
Check the resistance between all three Yellow term
i-
nals.
STANDARD:
0.1

Check
f
or
cont
inuity between all three Yellow termi-
nals and Ground.
There should be
no
continuity.
If readings are far
beyond t
he standard, or if any
wire has
continuity
to g rou nd, replace t he alternator
stator.
