Install the dowel pins and oil orifices.
Carefully install the lower crankcase o n th e upper
crankcase.
Apply engine o il to the main journal 9 mm bolt
threads and seating surfaces and insta ll them .
Tighten the 9 mm bolts in several steps, then
tighten them to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 14 lbf·ft)
Further t ighten the 9 mm bo lts 90 deg rees in numer-
ical order cast on the lower crankcase.
Remove th e
9
mm bolts and lower crankcase.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.05 mm (0.002 in)
If the main bearing clearance is beyond tolerance,
select a replaceme nt bearing.
