Loosen the drive chain by turning the rear axle bear-
ing holder, then remove the drive sprocket from the
countershaft.
GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
REMOVAL
Drain the engine oil (page 3-14).
Remove the two water pump mounting SH bolts,
then remove the water pump without disconnecting
r------
the water hoses.
Remove the pinch bolt and gearshift pedal from the
gearshift spindle.
Remove the bolt and stopper plate.
