2. No.1 Oz Sensor Heater Resistance Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the No.1
0 2
sensor 4P (Natural ) con-
nector and measure the resistance at the sensor
side connector white terminals.
Connection: White (+)- White (-)
Standard: 10 - 40

Is the resistance w ithin 10 - 40

NO - Faulty No.1

sensor.
YES - GO TO STEP 3.
3. No.1 Oz Sensor Heat er Short Circuit Inspection
Check fo r continuity between the white terminal
and ground.
Connection: White (+)- Ground (-)
Is there continuity?
YES - Faulty No.1 0 2 sensor.
NO - GO TO STEP 4.
4. No.1 Oz Sensor Heater Power Input Line Inspec-
tion
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure the voltage at the No.1 0 2 sensor wire
harness side connector terminals.
Connection: Black/ white (+) - White (-)
Standard: Battery voltage
Does battery voltage exist?
NO - GO TO STEP 6.
YES - GO TO STEP 5.
