GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Install the stopper plate and tighten the bolt
securely.
Install the gearshift pedal while aligning its split
with the punch mark on the gearshift spindle.
Install and tighten the gearshift pedal bolt.
Install the water pump assembly (page 6-19).
Tighten the water pump mounting SH bolts.
DRIVE SPROCKET INSTALLATION
Instal/the drtve
Install the drive chain over the sprocket.

Install the drive sprocket onto the countershaft.
Install the washer and drive sprocket bolt.
Shift the transmission into 6th gear and apply rear
brake.
Tighten the drive sprocket bolt to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 51 N·m (5.2 kgf·m, 38 1bf·ft)
