Rear Camshaft Installation - Honda INTERCEPTOR 2002 Service Manual

CYLINDER HEAD/ VALVES
Install the front cylinder camshafts with the index
lines on the cam sprocket facing outward .
Install the camshaft holders following the same pro-
cedure as when both the front and rear camshafts
were removed (page 8-38).
REAR CAMSHAFT INSTALLATION

Install the shims and valve lifters into t he normal
valve lifter bore.
Install the VTEC side outer valve springs into the
VTEC valve lifter bore with the tightly wound coils
facing the combustion chamber.
Install the slide pi n holders and valve lifters into the
VTEC valve lifter bore.
