8. Wire Harness Short Circuit Inspection for Front
Modulator
Disconnect the ABS control unit 5P (Black) con-
nector.
Check for continuity between the f ront ABS
modu lator 3P (Light gray) wire harness side con-
necto r terminal and g round.
Connection: Orange/green - ground
Pink/ blue - ground
Is there continuity?
YES - Short circuit in wire harness between
the front ABS modulator and the ABS
control unit.
NO - GO TO STEP 9.
9. Wire Harness Continuity Inspection
Check for continuity betw een the f ront ABS
modulato r 3P (Light g ray) wi re harness side con-
nect o r term inals and the A BS contro l unit 5P
(Black) wire harness side connector terminals.
Connection: Orange/ green - Orange/ green
Pink/ blue - Pink/ blue
Is there continuity?
YES - Faulty ABS control unit.
NO - Open circuit in wire harness between
the front ABS modu lato r and the ABS
control unit .
Problem code 7: Rear modulator crank angle sensor
system inspection
1. ABS Indicator Checking
Turn the ignition switch to "ON" and check the
ABS indicator.
Is the indicator still blinking?
YES - GO TO STEP 2.
NO - GO TO STEP 3.
