When servicing the
f
ront
wheel, fork or steering stem, support the motorcycle
using
a safety stand or hoist.
A contaminated brake disc or pad reduces stopping power. Discard contaminated pads and clean a contaminated disc
with
a
high quality brake degreasing agent.
After the
front
wheel installation, check the brake operation by applying the brake
lever
and pedal.
Refer to the brake system information
(page
15-4).
Use
only
tires marked
"TUBELESS"
and
tubeless
valve stems on rim marked
"TU
BELESS TIRE
APPLICABLE".
