ELECTRIC STARTER/ STARTER CLUTCH
Install and tighten the case bolts securely.
INSTALLATION
Coat a new 0-ring with oil and install it into the
starter motor groove.
Install t he starter motor into t he crankcase.
Install and tighten the starter motor mounting bolts.
Route the starter motor cable.
Install the starter motor cable, then tighten the ter-
minal nut.
Install the rubber cap securely.
Install the removed parts in the reverse order of
removal.
STARTER CLUTCH
REMOVAL
Remove the right crankcase cover (page 9-14).
Remove the starter idle gear shaft and reduction
gear shaft.
Remove the starter idle gear and reduction gear.
