2. ABS Indicator Function Rechecking
Retri eve the problem code and erase it.
Perform the pre-start self-d iagnosis and check
t he A BS i ndicator.
Is the indicator still blinking?
NO - • Fine f oreign matte r in m odulator or
the A BS contro l unit has been d is-
rupted by an extremely powerfu l
rad io wave.
• Check t he co nnector and wire har-
ness of t he wheel speed senso r sys-
tem f o r loose connect ion.
YES - GO TO STEP 3.
3. Crank Angle Sensor Input Voltage Inspection
Disconnect t he rear A BS modulator 3P (Light
g ra y) connector.
Measure t he volta ge between t he 3P (Light g ra y)
con necto r wi re harness sid e termi nals wit h the
ign ition swit ch t urned t o "ON".
Connection: Orange/ blue
(+) -
Pink/white (-)
Standard:
4.5 - 5.5
V
Is the voltage within standard value?
NO - GO TO STEP 8.
YES - GO TO STEP 4.

ABS Control Unit Connector

Disconnect t he ABS control unit 12P (Black) con-

nector.
Connect the rear A BS m odulator 3P (Light g ray)
connecto r.
Check for continuity between the A BS control
unit 12P {Black) wire harness side connecto r and
gro und.
Connection: White/ pink - ground
Is there continuity?
YES - GO TO STEP 5.
NO - GO TO STEP 6.
