the indicated range.
Fill the recommended engine oil up to the upper
level line.
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL:
HONDA GN-4 or HP4 (Without Moly) 4-stroke oil
(U.S.A. and Canada) or Honda 4-stroke oil (Canada
only) or equivalent motor oil
API service classification: SF, SG or Higher
JASO 4T service classification: MA
Viscosity: SAE 10W-40
Reinsta ll the fille r cap.
ENGINE OIL & FILTER CHANGE
Warm up the engine.
Remove the side cowl and inner half cowl (page
2-
8).
Change the engine
Stop the engine and remove t he oil f iller cap.

is warm and the
motorcycle is on level
ground to assure
complete draining
Remove t he drain bolt, drain the oil completely.
Remove and discard the oil filter cartridge using the
special tool.
