FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/ STEERING
Pour the specified amount of recommended fork
fluid into the fork pipe.
RECOMMENDED FORK FLUID: Pro Honda Suspen-
sion Fluid SS-8
FORK FLUID CAPACITY:

Pump the damper rod several times until the fork
flu ids flow out of the oil hole in the rebound damp-
ing adjuster.
Slowly pump the fork pipe several times to remove
the trapped air.
Compress the fork pipe slow ly.
Be sure the oil level
Measure the oil level from the top of the fork pipe.
1s the same in the
both forks.
FORK OIL LEVEL: 100 mm (3.9 in)
Pull the damper rod up and install the fork spring
with the tapered end facing up.
Remove the following:
- Spring seat
- Spring collar
