ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM {ABS)

FRONT MODULATOR INSTALLATION
Install the modulator onto t he stay and tighten the
three mounting bolts.
Install the modu lator/stay assembly o nto the fra me,
being careful not to interfere with t he brake p ipes.
Install and t ighten the modulator stay mount ing
bolts.
Set t he brake pipes into the modulator ports and
make sure that the paint color on the brake pipes
are aligned wi t h the m arks on the mod ulato rs.
Apply brake f luid to the jo int nut threads on the
brake pipes.
Tighten the joint nuts t o the specif ied torque.
TORQUE: 17 N·m (1.7 kgf·m, 12lbf·ft)
Install the wire harness guide to the front modulator
and tigh ten the bolt securely.
