Brake Pedal - Honda INTERCEPTOR 2002 Service Manual

HYDRAULIC BRAKE
BRAKE PEDAL
REMOVAL
Remove the right footpeg bracket assembly.
Unhook the brake light switch spring and brake
pedal return spring from the brake pedal.
Remove and discard the brake pedal joint cotter pin.
Remove the joint pin.
Remove the snap ring, thrust washer and brake
pedal from the footpeg.
INSTALLATION
BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH
SWITCH SPRING

SNAP RING
THRUST WASHER
Apply grease to the slidi ng surface of the brake
pedal and footpeg.
Install the brake pedal and thrust washer to the
pedal pivot.

SNAP RING
FOOTPEG BRACKET
RETURN SPRING
THRUST WASHER
