Rear opening element light: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Open the luggage compartment lid.
a Remove the access flap (1) from the tailgate trim.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove the nut (2) from the tailgate light.

a Remove the tailgate light.
a Disconnect the connector (3) from the tailgate light.
a Remove the tailgate light.
When replacing the rear light on the tailgate
a Remove the bulbs from the rear light on the tailgate
(see 81A, Rear lighting, Rear light bulb: Removal
- Refitting, page 81A-8) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
When replacing the rear light on the tailgate
a Refit the bulbs on the rear light on the tailgate (see
81A, Rear lighting, Rear light bulb: Removal - Re-
fitting, page 81A-8) .
a Connect the connector on the tailgate light.
a Refit the rear light on the tailgate.
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the access flap on the tailgate trim.
a Close the luggage compartment lid.
