Removing the axis 3 gearbox
Use this procedure to remove the axis 3 gearbox.

Action
Drain the axis 3 gearbox from oil.
Jog the robot to the synchronization position.
DANGER
Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot work-
ing area.
CAUTION
Whenever parting/mating motor and gearbox,
the gears may be damaged if excessive force
is used!
Remove the axis 3 motor.
Remove the cable harness in the upper arm.
Remove the complete upper arm.
Place the complete upper arm on a work-
bench, some pallets or similar.
Remove two of the attachment screws and
fit two guide pins in opposite holes.
