Refitting the serial measurement unit
Use this procedure refit the serial measurement unit.

Action
Disconnect all remaining connectors to the
serial measurement unit and push button
units.
Unscrew the two nuts that holds the push
button guard.
Unscrew the nuts (4 pcs) on the plate of the
SMB and remove it.
Turn over the plate with the SMB unit fitted
and unscrew the attachment screws that
holds the SMB unit and remove it.
Action
Fit the SMB to the plate with its attachment
screws (3 pcs).
Secure the SMB fitted on the plate with its
attachment screws (4 pcs).
Refit the push button unit with its nuts (2 pcs).
Reconnect all the connectors.
Make sure the lock on the battery cable con-
nector R2.G snaps into place during refitting.
