REP LACING A SUCTION VAL VE
Removal
- C

the hydraulic head thoroughly.
Remove.
- 1he suction valve with its 0 ring,
• he filter.
Refitting
- Clean the new valve assembly (valve body, 0-nng,
filter) thoroughly.

the thrt- d (2) .
Fit the valve (hand tighten only).
BLEEDING
- Operate the lift pump.
- Sl,1cken
off
the
suction valve until petrol 1s
fie-wing from it.
- Tighten the valve to 2.5 m.kg (18 ft.lbs).
- Bleed the corresponding delivery valve (page 13 10,
class 1 ).
- M<1ke sure that the hydraulic head does not leak.
