REPLACING THE BOO T PAN EL
( by c utting awa y)
REMOVING THE DETACHABLE PARTS
Disconnect the battery
- Re move :
- the rear I ights
- the side I rghts
- Withdraw the w iring harness into the boot
- Strip the boot
• Remove :
- the boot lock
• the spore wheel carrier and lock
the badge
• the number plate trim
• the rear bumper
INTERVENTION ON THE CAR
• Cut away the boot panel along :
(a) - up to the level of t he rear Ii ght hou•
sing.
(b) - the inner edge of the rear I ight housing
( c) - vert1colly to the boot floor
(d) - the level of the boot floor
• S e porote the spot welding
• on the floor
- on the rear I 1ght housing
• on t he ends of the gusse t
NOTE - The cutting of th e part to be removed
( e} is to be realised after aligning the new pone(
• Smooth the edges..
