• Place drive pinion vertically on the work bench
• Drow o coloured mark on ol

the length of one
spline of the drive pinion.
· Install the following on drive pin ion :
- the long spacer
• the front bearing, fitted backwards
- nut

Tightening t orque 203 ft.lb s (28 m.kg)
·Screw dial indicator feeler end onto extension
K2, which
tn
turn should
be
secured to dial
indicator .
• Place dial indicator

on front face of dr ive
p1n1 on and make sure that exten sion tool K2
fa ce s the marked spl ine and that extension
rests on the mochmed surface of nut

- Move dia l md1cotor into its support to bring
small hand to

and big ha nd to 0, for example.
• Remove micromete r and to ovoid change of
reading keep micrometer in o safe p lace .
• Remove rear bea ring outer ra ce, using :
·bolt
