STEERING GEAR
REMOVAL
· Place the car over a pit or on car a lift.
- Disconnect the track rod boll joints using the
extractor 8.0703
E.
- Remove :
· the steering column flector assembly bolt.
- the two A I len type screws securing the
s·eering box to the cross-member.
- Insert a 6 mm centre punch 1 in place of the
f ector bolt.
- Disengage the steering column by rocking
the flee tor s I ight ly , using the centre punch os
a lever.
