DIFFEREN TI AL
REM OVAL
· Remove the broke compensator lever pivot (leave
the lever hanging from the spring)
· Remove the electric feed pump without dis·
connecting it.
• Remove the
4
nuts securing the coMecting tube
to the
diff~entiol
· Remove the two Allen screws securing the differ·
entiol to the crossmember using a 10 mm Allen
socket
• Separate the d 1fferent1ol from the connecting tube
and wi thdrow the unit until the studs ore op prox·
1motely 15mm from the flange.
• Insert the propeller shaft retaining plate S be-
tween the d1 fferentiol and the tube
• Secure 1t to the tube using a 10
X
20 bolt
screwed into the top left hand hole
• T ighten the bolt
·Withdraw the differential unit.
