- C onnecting tube
- Place the tube between two centering pins.
- Using o dial indicator check :
·the out of true 1 on the grease nipple right
'land side .
Maximum out of tru e : 2 mm
- the warping of the bearing surfaces

·Place propeller shaft between two centering
pin s .
- Usmg o dial indicator check the maximum out of
true on the central bearing surface.
Max imum out of true :
0 .2

REF I TTING
· Ensure that the tube, the gearbox and differen·
tiol bearing surfaces ore perfectly clean.
• Press the propeller shaft front port against the
tube using holding plate 8.0403 S.
- Smear MUL TIPURPOSE GREASE H on the front
port of the prope l I er shaft splines.
