SUSPENSION ARMS
REMOVAL
- Remove th e drive shaft (class
4,
page
12 12
and
12 13)
- The arm being temporarrly joined to the cross-
member with the rods
J,
remove the brake cali-
per, the rear hub and hub carrier (class 5, page
14 12 and 14 13).
- Place a jock under the arm and raise 1t until the
shock absorber is no longer on maximum ex-
pansion
- Remove the shock absorber ·
- on C onvertib les, use the box spanner

and
the rod ho lding tool R.
- Lower the jock until the suspension spring is
completely freed
- Remove the spring and its upper rubber thrust
cup
- Remove the rods J
- Remove the arm
· Remove from the arm :
- the ontiroll bar link.
