- Check the «Neutral•} boll lock for positive
action by moving the selector lever in both
directions.
o • Check that the plug

for the «Neutro I

boll lock 1s flush with the housing.
b · Should the boll lock be inoperative remove
the plug and check the spring and ball for
proper condition.
- replace al I defective parts.
• At each repair operation :
- remove the plug,
·clean 1t as well as its recess,
• smear the plug with «Perfect seol

tighten it vnti I it is flush with the housing
then lock in this position
by
two punch marks
