HULL - FRONT PART
REPLACIN G A FRONT PART OF THE BUTTRESS AHO A FRONT FRAMEW OR K PANEL
PREPARAT ION
- Removal and refitting of the hull 11.0201
- Remowl and refitting of the front assembly 11.0501
Replacing the front components 11.0512.
IHTERVEHT IOH OH THE BENCH
- Place, centre and tighten the hull on the bench
starting from the points furthest away from the
impact point.
·Straighten the damaged ports. Check, with the
jock free, the progress of the operation by refer-
ing to the fastening holes of the buttresses
and the wing val onces.
- Straighten out the distorted ports if necessary.
CUTTING
- Cut the framework panel as follows ·
(a ) - the lower port of the front upper cross
piece
(b) ·the edge of the front port of the wing val-
ance
(c) - the edge of the lower cross piece and its
support.
- Cut the lower bracket following its shape (d).
- Cut the battery supports (left hand side)
- Cut the buttress :
(e)-At the end of the lower cross piece
(f) - Following the base of the valance.
(g).At a right
angle~
150 mm from the bulk-
head
·Cut the remaining port of the sole plate (h).
NOTE -
The final cutting of the buttress is done
during ad1usting of the new part.
