BRAKES
OVERHAULING A REAR BRAKE CALIPER
REASSEMBLY
- Coat new seals with Lockheed Spagraph grease.
- Locate sPals in throat of cyl inder.
- Lightly coat the pistons with Lockheed Spagraph
grease.
- Insert the
pistons
in
their resoecuve µos1t1ons
(as illustrated opposite).
-Fit
the
r 11bi..Jer protectors
retainino c1rcl 1ps
narrow d 1 (6) J1sc side,
w1dP clip (5) cal1per plate side.
- Fit nylon spacer (raise brake lever).
- Hoo•.
handbrake ever return spring,
- fit
a new Truarc ring
in
the hole (a) for spring (7).
spring (8) anchors wrthout
a Truarc ring.
