FRONT AX LE
ADJUSTMENT
PARALLELISM ADJUSTMENT
- The checking of the front oxl e con be effected
with the BEM MULLER apparatus .
- The parallelism adjustment is carried out,
with the vehicle in working order, (Car with
petrol,

- Slacken the two clomp nuts on the adjustable
track rod

- Hold the boll 1oint

in position, with its two
flats HORIZONTAL using

open ended
spanner
- Screw or unscrew the track rod

to obtain o
toe in of
4.5
mm

mm.
H. B. - One turn of the adjustable track rod
4.5 mm at the wheel nm.
- Hold the adjustable track rod 1n the pos1t1on
thus found .
- Tighten the clomp nuts to 9 ft. lbs (1.25 m.kg)
ensuring that the ball joint socket

remotns
on a horizontal plane.
