BLEEDING AND ADJUSTING
FINAL OPERATIONS
- Adjust :
- shoes of rear drum brakes of long models (see
page 02 32).
- the handbrake, if necessary (see page 02 31).
- Check :
- system for leaks,
· fl.Jid level in reservoir,
- braking efficiency,
- clutch operation.
- Tightening torque :
- bleed screw - 9 ft/lbs.
(1 ,25 m.kg)
- wheel nut - 43 ft/lbs. (6 m.kg).
