BRAKES
BLEEDING AND ADJUSTING
2) TOPPING-UP AND BLEEDING A NEW REAR
WHEEL CYLINDER OR AFTER DRAINING AND
REFILLING COMPLETE.
Before replacing the pads.
- Insert piston actuating fixture (G) in slot.
- Actuate brake pedal several times.
·the piston should travel to its maximum.
- Bleed each wheel cylinder accordingly.
- Replace pads (see page 03 OG).
- Proceed to bleed the other rear wheel cylinder and
the front cylinders.
IMPORT ANT ·With engine running, actuate brake
pedal several times until strong resistance is e!l-
countered.
